Guidelines for Development and Possibility of Establishing Twin Cities in Tourism of Thailand

Abstract

Establishing twin city relations this is the beginning of the relationship between the 2 countries which will lead to cooperation in various areas that the two countries have mutual interest. Such as tourism culture, trade, investment, education and public health/medical. Such relationship May be used as a tool for conducting international relations that is in line with the foreign policy of the government in enhancing relations between people for better understanding.  From this study to be a guideline for matching the twin cities in 2 cities, namely U-Thong, Suphanburi-Chengdu, Chengdu, China and Loei-Laos to build cooperation in sustainable tourism development together. Found that both cities have the potential to develop into a twin city in tourism by using spatial factors Unique Including the way of life that is a different geographical feature. Which the city will be able to be a twin city/elder city there must be similarities in areas such as geography Common history, traditions, way of life / living or specific characteristics etc.
