งานวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ศึกษาที่มาของนางศุภลักษณ์จากวรรณกรรมต่างๆ รวมทั้งวิเคราะห์บทบาท และลักษณะเฉพาะของนางศุภลักษณ์ในบทละครเรื่องอุณรุท เพื่อเป็นแนวทางในการวิเคราะห์กระบวนท่ารำเชิดฉิ่ง ศุภลักษณ์ที่ใช้ในการแสดงละครในเรื่องอุณรุท ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ศุภลักษณ์เป็นตัวละครที่มีบทบาทสำคัญอยู่ในเรื่องอุณรุท มีที่มาจากเรื่องอนิรุทธ คำฉันท์ที่เกิดขึ้นในสมัยอยุธยา โดยรับอิทธิพลมาจากเรื่องอนิรุทธ์ในวรรณคดีสันสกฤต คือ วิษณุปุราณะ ศิวปุราณะ และหริวงศ์ ของคัมภีร์มหาภารตะ รวมทั้งจากเรื่องอุษาหรณ ของชาวฮินดี บทละครเรื่องอุณรุท เป็นพระราชนิพนธ์ของรัชกาลที่ 1 ในปีพุทธศักราช 2310 มีการกล่าวถึงศุภลักษณ์ 2 ตอน คือ ศุภลักษณ์วาดรูป และอุ้มสม อีกทั้งพบว่ามีการสืบทอดกระบวนท่ารำกันมา ตั้งแต่โบราณจากครูละครนาง 2 สาย คือ วังเจ้าพระยาเทเวศร์ฯ และวังสวนกุหลาบ เข้ามาถ่ายทอดในโรงเรียนนาฏศิลป กระบวนท่ารำเชิดฉิ่งศุภลักษณ์ บอกถึงเอกลักษณ์ของตัวละคร ซึ่งยึดรูปแบบการรำ เชิดฉิ่งทั่วไป ด้วยการแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ช่วงเพลง คือ เชิด เชิดฉิ่ง และเชิดกลอง ท่ารำที่ใช้มาจากเพลงแม่แบบการฝึกหัดนาฏศิลป์ไทย และภาษาท่า เป็นท่ารำหลักในการสื่อความหมาย มีการเชื่อมโยงท่ารำหลักต่างๆ ให้ร้อยเรียงได้อย่างกลมกลืน และมีท่ารำเฉพาะแทรกอยู่ด้วย คือ ตื่นกลอง ซึ่งเป็นลักษณะท่ารำพิเศษที่ไม่ปรากฏใช้กับตัวละครอื่นๆ ยกเว้นนางศุภลักษณ์เท่านั้น

Abstract

 This Study aimed to study the origin of Nang Supalaksana from literatures and the role analysis including the characteristics of her role in the drama called Unarut. The purpose is to guide the process of Rum Cherd Ching dance analysis. The results showed that Supalaksana is the character who has an important role in the story of Aunnarut which is sourced from the Aunnarut Kamchan stanza in Ayutthaya period. This has been influenced by the Aniruth is in Sanskrit literature which are Vishnu Purana Shivapurana and scriptures of Hariwong that is in the appendix of Mahabharata scripture. As well as from the Usahorn story, the Hindi drama. The drama Aunnarut is the composition of King Rama I the Great in B.E. 2310. The story mentioned her in two parts, Suparaksana Drawing and Supalaksana Aumsom. It also found that the dance steps were inherited from the ancient dance of two theaters of drama teachers which are the royal drama of Praya Teveswongwiwat and the royal drama of the Rose Garden palace (Suankularb). Rum Cherd Ching Supalaksana dance represents a form of traditional dance based on the general Rum Cherd Ching by the dividing the choreography into three sessions: Pleng Cherd, Pleng Cherd Ching (cymbals) and Pleng Cherd Glong (drums). This special dance appearance is not seen in other characters, except seen in the dance of Supalaksana only.
