Thai Dramatic Arts Creating Composition “Samanakka Songkrueng”, the objective of the reserch consist of, exploring the story of Samanakka, and creating a suite of Thai traditional dancing which called “Ram Diao” for the show called Samanakka Songkrueng”. This is the kind of Qualitative Research in the style of the new type of Thai traditional creativity by researching from involved treatises and reserach paper that was analyzed, synthesized, summed up and presented in the type of research by researcher.
The result is, ideas of inventing the Thai Traditional Classical drama and Dancing Composition“Samanakka Songkrueng” was from my inspiration and performing experiments, in addition, from
interviewing with national artists and specialists. Main methods to invent the dancing posture consisting of three things are, 1. imagination, 2. mixing between story interpretation and natural manner, 3. to develope from the old style by dancing with interpreting from lyrics and Na Paat music accompaniment which was rearranged characteristically but still follow the tradition of standard dancing posture of the traditional dancing “Longsong”. The characteristic of dancing is mixing between delicated and potent in a form of giantess who is the giant king’s sister. There is Pi Paat band accompanying during the show. Performers dress with standard giantess costume with a headdress in the form of Khon performance.
