Fiber in Creative work of Art

Abstract

Human being have created fiber for general uses for a long time from natural plant fiber, and wool. Technology develops permanent fiber production with a great help of fast manufacturing processes. However both plant fiber and polyester are for human use, there are some backgrounds of fiber. The fiber was changed according to human life, technology development, human ideas, belief development, and needs from the past to the present. There are fiber art groups that use plant fiber and polyester to create their new concept in work of art. Some works of art that they created from fiber can reflect impression of the simple way of life in a countryside. Some works of art show the pure love of a mother who devotes her life to her autistic child. Red fiber shows a relationship of human memories, or the impermanend of human body. These all are about fiber art that comes from the improvement from being common fiber to being creative work of art for social reflection, and attitude expression.
