Art creation of female artists for mental disorders healing

In the Renaissance period, an important science about mental illness analysis in both psychoanalysis and psychology was discovered. The discovery was important for the artist's concept communicating mental disorder developed from pressure, anxiety, frustration, conflict, body and genetic disorders. The analysis of psychoanalytic theory could provide an understanding of the creation of healing art of two artists : Georgia O’keeffe and Yayoi Kusama in terms of composition, technique, presentation, and so on. The analysis helps to clarify the causes of problematic behavios to solve mental disorders, and to heal mental disorders subconscious mind to reach a state of conscious mind. The artist presents mental disorders called “Depersonalization” It means change of perception of their experience in the environment. Considered as one of abnormal forms of thinking and a symptom of Obsession, an abnormality of thinking such as Obsessive thoughts. It can happen in patient’s brain without a control. The patients often feel anxious. Moreover they have compulsions which come from abnormal behaviors. It’s not abnormal thinking. However, the patients can not resist the symptom of obsession – compulsion and they feel obsessive – compulsive because they want to reduce the repetitive thought. Mental disorders healing concept is useful in art therapy because it can be used for healing patients and general people and for the understanding about mental disorders. It’s not an embarrassing problem
