This article presents the contents of Twitter logo design. which is an online social networking service (Social Media) which is a popular service By studying the logo design from 2005 - 2023, this article analyzed the content of the information in terms of history. The starting point for designing a Twitter logo that connects through social and cultural context. This makes the logo design process all have hidden symbols in the design work. The emblem has been adjusted and modified to bring it to its current perfection. This logo design study aims to find hidden symbols in the design of the Twitter logo. Since the origin of the symbol The first official emblem The combination of the bird symbol until Elon Designer rebranded Twitter as “X” is all about using images to represent meanings that are related to the usage behavior of people in each era. It is like a symbol that is a recorder of events. changes in social context Including different usage behaviors such as In the past, logos served as the face of services that reflected identity and created recognition for users. But at present, logos do not only serve to create recognition but can also create changes in symbolic meaning rather than design beauty. It is up to the service provider how to create recognition. Therefore, the design of the current logo may not only serve to create recognition, but there will be other elements such as user experience design (Ux/Ui) that come in to act in place of the logo as well.
