Public relation media design to promote tourism for Ban Mae Chaem Community, Lampang Province.

Ban Mae Chaem is called a land of 3 races, and it has sustainable development of natural tourism, located at Moo 1, Chae Son Subdistrict, Mueang Pan District. Lampang Province. Mae Chaem Subdistrict area is rich in natural resources and has a good weather. Most of the villagers make a living in agriculture and the produce is cold-season crops. Ban Mae Chaem is a community with a unique history and unique lifestyle of the people. This uniqueness is a tourist attraction. At present, there are not many media presenting about Ban Mae Chaem, including the lack of interest in existing media, causing some tourists to not know about Ban Mae Chaem. This research aims to find a guideline for a media design to promote a tourism of Ban Mae Chaem, Lampang Province. The study used a mixed research method. The research was conducted by collecting qualitative data from field surveys, including interviews with five graphic design professionals, and quantitative data from a population of 100 tourists aged 20-35. The result of the research shows that 1) Most of the tourists in the prefer to travel with a group of friends, accounting for 48%, followed by family trips, accounted for 40 %. Solo travel, accounting for 6%.
Data collection from graphic design experts found that 1) Using organic forms or shapes are suitable for use in designing 2) Design personality: Natural (natural), Casual (independent, informal), Lively. (Lively) 3) Headline font characters are Sanserif and handwritten characters; body texts are serif font. 4) Illustrations that communicate well with the target audience should use photographs. or drawings in digital format.
