Design of Interactive Media to Promote Tourism Routes in Ranong Province

Abstract

The research on the design of interactive media to promote tourism in Ranong Province aims to 1. study basic information on natural resources and tourist destinations in Ranong Province and 2. design and develop interactive media based on Ranong's natural resources and culture using quality research methodology combined with quantitative methodology. Documentary analysis, Focus group and in-depth interviews, and media usage requirements of subscribers. Base on natural resources and communities in Ranong province and the assessment of tourism potential in Ranong province, it was found that in the case of capacity assessment, environmental and cultural factors, tourism routes can be categorized into 5 districts, namely Kaburi District, Kapoe District, In Mueang Ranong District, Laun District, and Suksamran District, it was found that there are 25 places tourist attractions in the Ranong area. There are 9 routes: 1) historical - natural tourist, 2) natural - cultural, 3) urban - leisure, 4) natural - community, 5) civilization - natural, 6) Travelling rest, 7) natural - historical, 8) history - community, 9) natural - lifestyle covering the entire province. The evaluation of the application's design experts found the icon representation was clear and easy to understand, the presentation of each page was accurate, and the graphic design elements was very appropriate.
