Mixed Media and Animation Design for Promoting Nan’s Forest Conservation

Abstract

Deforestation causes the environment to change. Affecting various things such as lacking
wildlife, food and habitat clan less water retention. The upstream of the river origin decreases
resulting in water shortages, etc. The many effects that follow can result in fluctuations in weather
and toxic pollution. If able to present an animation design approach that helps viewers learn about
deforestation and increase interest in forest care.
The objective of this research is to design motion by using mixed media to make it interesting
and able to creating memory for viewers. Bring thoughts and stories from Nan forests that convey
the problem of deforestation in Nan. Which is the source of many rivers in Thailand with a method
of conducting research by collecting information about destruction. Forest forms and methods,
including the impact of deforestation from then surveying and fi elding to collect. Gather
information from the questionnaire. Analyze and draw results to the design process that is in line with
the construction needs. Create animation design using integrated techniques to illustrate the effects
of deforestation, forest burning, shifting cultivation and various problems. Caused by ignorance of
the villagers or the capitalists, who are want a business that d oes not take into account
the environmental impact that will come back to hurt oneself in the community and the nation.
The result of this research is a drama that presents the problem of deforestation from logging
that has the highest analysis results. Create visual interest and sound for the viewer to remember.
The impact of deforestation can forward the information about the impact of deforestation and
help to conserve the forest further
