Abstract

This research is a practice-led project on kiosk design to promote the sale of a souvenir shop,
Rin Kanom Thai, in Chachoengsao province. The objective is to d esign a kiosk that is represent
the image of the brand. In this research, a prototype of a kios k was designed to create
a corporate identity for a clear understanding between the orga nization and the target group.
The scope of works includes a mobile kiosk and a permanent kios k (6x3 meters).
The population used in the research consisted of entrepreneurs, shop staffs, customers and
tourists in Chachoengsao. The selection method used in this research was a purposive method
consisted of 100 subjects. The research tools were a questionna ire and a satisfaction
evaluation that were divided into 4 areas which were 1) Creativ e aspect 2) Usability
3) Suitability and production 4) Design. The evaluation used in this research were the average,
the percentage and the standard deviation. From the results, th e satisfaction rates of all
the 4 areas were at high levels. It showed that the development of the prototypes was
suitable to be used and could be develop into real production i n the future.
