Abstract

Historic City of Ayutthaya was declared a World Heritage Site on December 13, 1991 on the 3rd (III) criterion, to bear a unique or at least exceptional testimony to a cultural tradition or to a civilization which is living or which has disappeared, with value Outstanding Universal Value (OUV) is the city's prosperity. There is a systematic city planning and showing evidence of various types of works of art with creativity and influence from foreign into the mix Until 2021, this is a 30-year period that the area has archaeology and restoration operations It is divided into 3 time periods: 1. 1992 - 2001, it was archaeological operation under Master Plan for Conservation and Development of the Historical City of Ayutthaya, 1993 – 2001 focus on studying in the World Heritage area, which is an important part in the heart of the island city of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya area of 1,810 rai.  2. 2002 - 2011, focusing on archaeological operations around the World Heritage Site, including the rest of the island and surrounding areas outside the islands and 3. 2012 – 2021 is the period after the flood. It is considered that archaeology operations in the Ayutthaya Historical Park area are Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya district to be in accordance with international principles. Using scientific and interdisciplinary processes to study the authenticity, completeness, including various elements of archaeological sites, leading to restoration to preserve the World Heritage Sites.
