Influence of Buddhism Literature in Sukhothai Kingdom and Ayutthaya Kingdom Historical Record Case-Study : North Royal Historical Annals

Abstract

Study Sukhothai and Ayutthaya history have more evidences, But North Royal Historical Annals has interestingness in content about legend in Buddhism such as event about Buddha, disciples of Buddha and important person in Buddhist era happen in Sukhothai period and Ayutthaya period. It show that, Compiler has good knowledge about Buddhism, who can brought event about Buddhism out contain in historical record as same story. This article focuses on the study event about Buddhism in Sukhothai period and Ayutthaya period from North Royal Historical Annals. Show that it is historical resources with Buddhism resources.
