A Multicultural Leadership Model to Enhance Participative Management for School Principals of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) study the components of a multicultural leadership Model to enhance participative management for school principals in the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration 2) create a multicultural leadership model to enhance participatory management for school principals of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration; and 3) Trial  and Evaluate the effectiveness of a multicultural leadership model that facilitates participatory management of school administrators under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The population used in this research was 9school administrators, 9 teacher representatives, 9 community leaders, 9 religious leaders, and 9 students, totaling 45 people. Questionnaires which consisted of gender, age, experience, educational background, educational position and elements of multicultural leadership that facilitated participative management of educational institute administrators, were used. There was the participation of school administrators under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The nature of the questionnaire was a rating scale.


​The results of the analysis found that most of the respondents who were school administrators were female, 24 people (53.3%); Elements of Multicultural Leadership contributing to participatory management of school administrators under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration overall were appropriate, and accuracy was at the highest levels and Leadership components conducive to participatory administration of school administrators under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration overall were appropriate and accuracy was at the highest levels.
