Abstract

The objective of this research was to study the differences in personal factors that affect the work efficiency relationship between qualities of work life with work efficiency for guidelines to develop the quality of work life and increase work efficiency of central officers in the Department of Social Development and Welfare, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security. This survey research used a sample survey of 215 central officers. The study found that central officers in the Department of Social Development and Welfare, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security had a very high level of satisfaction in the quality of their work life and work efficiency in general. It was found that the officers experienced a safe and healthy environment with which they were most satisfied, while they were least satisfied with their income and benefits. Secondary factors are work load and quality of work. Personal factors of education, position and income affected the work efficiency of central officers in the Department of Social Development and Welfare, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security. Their quality of work life was related to their work efficiency at a moderate level. Each side found that their quality of work life was related to their efficiency at work most and income and benefits were related with work efficiency the least.
