Developing the Forensic Evidence and Problem in Murder Prosecution

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research method by data analysis from 40 murder cases to the conclusion. The aims of this research were to study 1) Obstacle problems that affected a successful result murder prosecution and 2) Developing the forensic evidence in murder cases. The research found five obstacle problems that affected a successful result 1)Unclear circumstances whether it was a murder, suicide, or an accident. 2) Insufficient evidence 3) Deceased's body could not be found 4) Inability to investigate the criminal to prosecute and 5) Problem of proving the truth in court. Developing the forensic evidence in the murder case consisted of 1) Considering obstacle problems that affected a success result murder prosecution together with 2) Developing the resource management system of inquiry work, forensic science, and forensic medicine at the Royal Thai police. 3) Developing the criminal justice and 4) Modifying the criminal procedure code.
