การขยายตัวขององค์กรอาชญากรรมไซเบอร์ในช่วงการระบาดของโควิด-19

บทคัดย่อ

บทความฉบับนี้ นำเสนอแนวโน้มการขยายตัวของอาชญากรรมไซเบอร์ที่กระทำโดยองค์กรอาชญากรรม ซึ่งมีความเชื่อมโยงกับการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตของประชาชนทั่วโลกที่มากขึ้นในช่วงการระบาดของโรคโควิด-19 และมาตรการจำกัดการแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด-19 ของรัฐ โดยทำการสำรวจพัฒนาการขององค์กรอาชญากรรมไซเบอร์ในยุคปัจจุบัน และความเชื่อมโยงขององค์กรอาชญากรรมกับอาชญากรรมไซเบอร์ที่มุ่งเน้นแสวงประโยชน์จากสถานการณ์โรคโควิด-19 โดยได้สรุปตัวอย่างอาชญากรรมไซเบอร์ที่องค์กรอาชญากรรมมีแนวโน้มเป็นผู้กระทำการสูงขึ้น 4 ประเภท ได้แก่ (1) การฉ้อโกงทางอินเทอร์เน็ตผ่านวิธีการฟิชชิ่งและสแกมมิ่ง (2) การใช้ไวรัสเรียกค่าไถ่ (3) การแทรกซึมตลาดการค้าทางออนไลน์ และ (4) การละเมิดสิทธิมนุษยชนโดยอาศัยช่องทางอินเทอร์เน็ต เช่น การค้ามนุษย์ และการแสวงประโยชน์ทางเพศ พร้อมกันนี้ บทความได้นำเสนอถึงความท้าทายและข้อเสนอแนะเกี่ยวกับการป้องกันและปราบปรามองค์กรอาชญากรรมไซเบอร์ในช่วงการระบาดของโรคโควิด-19 ที่ได้จากการสำรวจวรรณกรรมที่มีอยู่ในปัจจุบันเพื่อประโยชน์ในการพัฒนาปราบปรามองค์กรอาชญากรรมไซเบอร์ในบริบทของประเทศไทยต่อไป
