แรงบันดาลใจของศิลปินที่มีต่อแนวคิดพุทธศิลป์เชิงสัญลักษณ์ในงานประติมากรรมร่วมสมัย

Abstract

งานศิลปกรรมและประติมากรรมของไทยมาจากการสืบสานของศิลปินที่ได้รับการปลูกฝังสร้างจิตสำนึกจากบรรพชนเกี่ยวกับชาติ ศาสนา วัฒนธรรม และประเพณี จากอดีตถ่ายทอดมาสู่ปัจจุบัน เป็นพลังศรัทธาและเป็นแรงบันดาลใจนำไปสู่ผลงานอันทรงคุณค่า เผยแพร่ศิลปวัฒนธรรมและเอกลักษณ์ของชาติที่มีแนวคิดเชิงสัญลักษณ์ทางพุทธศิลป์ซึ่งปรากฏในประติมากรรมร่วมสมัย โดยกล่าวถึงที่มาของประวัติศาสตร์ศิลปกรรมในประเทศไทย ซึ่งศิลปินแต่ละยุคสมัยได้สร้างสรรค์ผลงานมุ่งสู่เนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับพุทธศิลป์ไทย และยังเป็นที่มาของการใช้สัญลักษณ์แทนความหมายผ่านทางผลงานศิลปกรรมและประติมากรรมร่ว มสมัยของไทยในปัจจุบันInspiration for the Artist in a Concept of Buddhist Art in a Contemporary Sculpture.

Artists are mostly inspired and created their visual arts and value sculpture from things surround them such as nation, religious, culture and tradition. Most of visual art and sculpture in Thailand are inherited of the artists from one generation to another generation by absorbing and transition from previous time to present which was a power of faith for art creation to expand the identity of Thai culture. All of this power faith also related to the artist’s inspiration which was about Buddhist Art in a contemporary sculpture. This article mentioned about the origin of history, Art in Thailand, the creation of artists from each period and concentrated direct to the Buddhist Art which inspired to the artists by using a meaning of symbol through a contemporary visual art and sculpture in Thailand now.
