โศกนาฏกรรมแห่งอนาคต

Abstract

ผลงานสร้างสรรค์ชุด “โศกนาฏกรรมแห่งอนาคต” มีที่มาจากสถานการณ์ ในปัจจุบัน ที่มนุษย์มักเลือกใช้ความรุนแรงเข้าเเก้ปัญหา จนลุกลามเกิดเป็น สงครามระหว่างชาติและสงครามกลางเมือง ซึ่งทำให้ต้องสูญเสียชีวิต นำไป สู่การล่มสลายของวัฒนธรรมและอารยธรรม และก่อให้เกิดปัญหาทางสังคม ตามมา ข้าพเจ้าจึงประสงค์จะนำเสนอเรื่องราวของสังคมในโลกปัจจุบัน ที่มีการก่อสงครามกันทั่วไป ไม่ว่าจะเป็นสงครามระหว่างประเทศ หรือ สงครามกลางเมือง ที่เป็นสาเหตุนำไปสู่การทำลายวัฒนธรรมและอารยธรรม สำคัญๆ ของโลก ซึ่งเป็นแหล่งรวบรวมองค์ความรู้ต่างๆ ที่ทำให้มนุษย์ได้เห็น รากเหง้าของตนเอง และยังได้เห็นพัฒนาการที่เปลี่ยนไปพร้อมกับกาลเวลา

ในผลงานชุดนี้ข้าพเจ้าเลือกเจาะจงไปที่ “วัดไทย” โดยสร้างสรรค์เป็นศิลปะ อินสตอลเลชั่น ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วยวิดีโออาร์ต และวิดีโอ Documentary ร่วม กันกับข้อความและประติมากรรมย่อยต่างๆ วิดีโออาร์ตจะนำเสนอสภาวะ และสภาพของศาสนสถานสำคัญๆที่ถูกทำลายจากน้ำมือมนุษย์ และวิดีโอ Documentary แสดงภาพของศาสนสถานสำคัญที่มีลักษณะเฉพาะต่างกัน ไป พร้อมกับข้อความอธิบาย ส่วนของข้อความและประติมากรรมย่อยต่างๆ ถูกจัดแสดงให้ทำงานร่วมกัน ผลงานทั้งหมดจะเป็นองค์รวมเดียวกัน

ผลงานชุดนี้ถือว่าได้ประสบความสำเร็จตามแนวความคิด ทั้งประสบการณ์ จากการเเก้ปัญหาในการทำงาน ได้รับความรู้ใหม่ และการจัดการด้านอื่น นอกจากนี้ การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานชุดนี้เน้นย้ำให้สังคมตระหนักถึงสิ่งที่อาจ เกิดขึ้นได้ในอนาคต จากความรุนเเรงที่เกิดจากน้ำมือมนุษย์เอง หากมนุษย์ ไม่ยอมปรองดองกัน

Tragedy of the Future

This creative art, Tragedy of the Future, is inspired by the current condition which violence often being chosen to solve problems. Afterward, it leads to wars between nations and civil wars, bringing loss of life. It also devastates cultures and civilizations, and causes social problems. This artwork aims to present the current condition that can turning into wars between nations and civil wars. The violence can destroy cultures and significant civilizations of the world which are the sources of human knowledge. These sources let man learn about himself and the progress from his roots that have been changing through time.

This artwork, focuses on “Thai temple,” is an installation art. It consists of a video art and a documentary video which working together with messages and small sculptures. The video art presents state and status of significant religious sites showing damages caused by humans. The documentary video portrays pictures of different important religious sites shown with descriptive text. The messages and small religion sculptures are displayed together.

This artwork has proved to respond fully with its objectives. I have gained work experiences in problem solving, latest knowledge, and other skills that can be adapted for further creative works. Furthermore, it helps remind people in the society to be aware of violence caused by human in the future.
