Abstract

The aims of this research are 1) to design and develop 3D imaginative model to study on the compositions of the old town of Nakhon Ratchasima; 2) to study on the perception of the samples about the compositions of the old town of Nakhon Ratchasima, by using 3D imaginative model; and 3) to survey on the satisfaction of the samples after using the 3D imaginative model. The samples consist of 41 high school students from the first semester of the academic year 2020, Boonwattana School, Nakhon Ratchasima. The samples are selected with the probability sampling method (Cluster sampling).

The research instrument is 3D imaginative models for study the compositions of the old town of Nakhon Ratchasima, published through social media. The instrument used to collect the data are 1) quality assessment form “Designs and development of 3D imaginative model for the study on the compositions of the old town of Nakhon Ratchasima; 2) questionnaire to measure the perception of the samples about the compositions of the old town of Nakhon Ratchasima, by of 3D imaginative model; and 3) satisfaction survey questionnaire of the samples after using the 3D imaginative model. The statistics used are means, standard deviations, percentages, and t-test results. The research findings are as follows. 1) In the overview, the 3D imaginative model for the study on the compositions of the old town of Nakhon Ratchasima has the mean of 4.42, which is is good level. 2) Level of perception about the compositions of the old town of Nakhon Ratchasima from the 3D imaginative model of the samples is  above the 80 percent threshold, with the average of 16.59 or 82.93 percent, with statistical significance level of .05. 3) The mean of satisfaction of the samples after using 3D imaginative model is 4.62, which is in the very high level.
