Abstract
Graphic Designing that Reflect the Identities of Phupapoh in Phawhai community, Nong Hin District, Loey province. This study aimed to (1) study the identities of Phupapoh in Phawhai community, Nong Hin District, Loey province, (2) create and develop graphic design on T-Shirts that reflect the identities of Phupapoh in Phawhai community, Nong Hin District, Loey province and (3) survey satisfaction levels of the graphic designs on the T-shirts. The study used two groups of people to collect the data. The first group was a group of ten from purposive sampling, which can provide academic knowledge comprising of three academicians, one leader of the community, three villagers, and three souvenir shopkeepers. The second group was 100 tourists from accidental sampling. Tools that were employed in this research were interview form, assessment form and questionnaire form. The research found that identities of Phupapoh were wooden swings, a Phuhoh mountain, Sea of mist, a field of tree marigold or Maxican sunflower, resting pavilions along the scenic route, the Phapoh mountain itself, and E-Tak carriages. According to the survey from the first group, high satisfaction was shown towards the identical graphic design on the T-shirts that were sold as a souvenir. Survey results from the 100 tourists showed that their gratifications toward the graphic designs on the T-shirts were extremely high, and the number nine graphic art was the most popular. Therefore, creating graphic designs on T-shirts as a souvenir should be interesting by embedding the identities of the tourist place on them as well as the quality, and the T-shirts can be worn at any occasion. These aspects were concerned by the consumers.
