This article is an issue of the research on Chaochunphomhorm, Niratphrathatinkhwean : A Novel Adaptation into A Modern play. It aims to study the strategies used in adaptation Jaojanpomhom novel into the youth play script at Faculty of Liberal Arts, PSU. 

The finding shows that the strategies used in the adaptation are; sequencing of events to ease audience, arguing between players, dancing and singing to make audience amazed, inserting jokes to attract audience, and inserting present events to touch audience’s daily life. However, the strategies used are adapted suitably to enhance the audience
