Abstract

                   This research aimed  to study 1) perception of using Information Technology of Thaksin University supporting personnel 2) behaviors of using Information Technology of Thaksin University supporting personnel 3) guidelines of using Information Technology of Thaksin University personnel. Sample were 130 supporting personnel of Songkhla campus retrieved by easy and stratified random samplings according to work units. Research tools were Likert scale questionnaire and semi-structure interview. The research statistics were frequency, percentage mean and standard deviation.

                The research findings were as follows: 1) Perception of using Information Technology of  Thaksin University supporting personnel was at high level. 2) Behaviors of using Information Technology of Thaksin University stated that using Information Technology at work, desktop computers and Information service website searching were at the highest level. The overall usefulness from using Information Technology was at high level. The types of used device-mobile phones were mainly used from Monday to Friday in including Saturday and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The use of information service websites. Was from Monday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The place where Information Technology was used the most was at work. 3) Suggestions of using Information Technology of Thaksin University supporting personnel stated that the systematic development of electronic documentary information should be created, activities of knowledge management on Information Technology system. Should be provided for fast, various, current, modern, and timesaving accessibility as well as the ease of searching to reduce time of working. The manuals of electronic information collection system should be provided. For users’ increasing opportunities and channels to give opinions and suggestions on using and solving problems independently
