Abstract

Abstract


 The purposes of this research were to 1) development of learning management model to promote environment ethics. 2) evaluate the effectiveness of development of learning management model to promote environment ethics. and 3) disseminate the development of learning management model to promote environment ethics. The sample was 40 students, major in social studies, Faculty of Education, Thaksin University Songkhal campus. The research instruments were learning management model to promote environment ethics, a learning outcome test, an assessment form of environmental ethics, and a questionnaire of the satisfaction of environmental ethics. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, t-test for dependent and content analysis.


The research finding revealed that:


  1. The development of learning management model to promote environment ethics. consisted of 5 components: principles, objectives, process, evaluate and assessment and conditions for implementation. The instructional process were comprised of 5 steps, namely 1) preparation for environmental learning, 2) construction the body of knowledge in environmental ethics, 3) survey the environmental’s problems, 4) practice activities to support valuable environmental ethics, and 5) summary and evaluation environmental ethics.

  2. The study of the effectiveness of development of learning management model to promote environment ethics. revealed that 1) student’s learning outcome scores on development environmental ethics was significantly higher than the scores before learning at the .05 level. 2) students ’s had learning outcome scores on the development environmental ethics in 5 components: pretest scores were at a moderate level and after learning at high level. The highest average was appreciation for the environment, then friendly with the environment and appreciation and respect of the environment. And 3) students’ satisfaction toward the model was at high level.

3. The result of disseminating the development of learning management model to promote environment ethics showed that 1) students ’s learning outcome scores on development environmental ethics was significantly higher than the scores before learning at the .05 level. 2) students ’s had learning outcome scores on the development environmental ethics in 5 components: pretest scores were at a moderate level and after learning at high level.
