The objective of this article was to illustrate the pursuit of the rehearsal process of 5 wind bands in Thai higher education, which was inspired by the findings on the research titled “the Quality Creation for Wind Band’s Performance in Thai Higher Education.” This was for the interested people to acknowledge the rehearsal process of successful wind bands in Thai higher education, ones who were domestically and internationally praised and considered to be the samples of a qualitative research.
It was found from the research that the wind bands in Thai higher education, the samples, had the rehearsal process for the quality of performances based on the plans which were well corresponded with the ensemble subjects listed in music higher education curriculum. It was also found that to develop the quality of performance of wind bands in higher education level, performance practices were needed, and the importance of creating exercises for practices was essential.
