การศึกษาพัฒนาการและการอนุรักษ์โคมล้านนาของหมู่บ้านเมืองสาตร ตำบลหนองหอย อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาประวัติความเป็นมาและพัฒนาการโคมล้านนาของหมู่บ้านเมืองสาตร ตลอดจนปัจจัยสนับสนุนและส่งผลกระทบต่อการผลิตโคมล้านนา รวมทั้งพัฒนาการและการอนุรักษ์โคมล้านนาหมู่บ้านเมืองสาตรให้เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรม กลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 20 ราย ได้แก่ ผู้ผลิตและจำหน่ายโคมล้านนาเป็นระยะเวลาน้อยกว่า 20 ปี จำนวน 12 ราย ผู้อาวุโสที่ผลิตโคมล้านนาเป็นเวลา 20 ปี ขึ้นไป จำนวน 5 ราย ประธานชุมชนเมืองสาตรหลวง จำนวน 1 ราย เจ้าอาวาสวัดเมืองสาตรหลวง และวัดเมืองสาตรน้อย จำนวน 2 รูป ใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสังเกตแบบไม่มีส่วนร่วม แบบสอบถามแบบมีโครงสร้าง และแบบสัมภาษณ์แบบมีโครงสร้าง โดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า แม่บัวไหล คณะปัญญา เป็นคนแรกที่ประดิษฐ์โคมล้านนาของหมู่บ้านเมืองสาตร พัฒนาการของโคมล้านนาจากอดีตสู่ปัจจุบันมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านรูปแบบ วัตถุดิบ และอุปกรณ์ที่ใช้ในการผลิต ส่วนประกอบของโคม  วิธีการทำ การเก็บรักษา ประโยชน์ใช้สอย และการประชาสัมพันธ์ ปัจจัยสนับสนุนให้เกิดการผลิตโคม คือ วัตถุดิบและอุปกรณ์ซึ่งหาซื้อได้ง่ายในท้องถิ่น ผู้ผลิตสามารถออกแบบและทำโครงสร้างได้เอง ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อการผลิตโคมล้านนา ได้แก่ วัตถุดิบราคาไม่คงที่ ปัญหาแรงงาน การลอกเลียนแบบสินค้า และการถูกตัดราคา การอนุรักษ์โคมล้านนาใช้วิธีถ่ายทอดความรู้ ส่วนวิธีส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรม ควรจัดให้มีถนนคนเดินภายในหมู่บ้าน

A STUDY OF DEVELOPMENT AND CONSERVATION OF LANNA LANTERN IN MUANG SART VILLAGE, NONGHOI SUBDISTRICT, MUANG DISTRICT, CHIANG MAI PROVINCE.

The purposes of this research was to study the history and development of Lanna lantern in Muang Sart Village; The supporting and effective factors in production, including Lanna lantern development and conservation for the cultural tourism. Twenty samples population composed of 12 producers of Lanna lantern less than 20 years of production, 5 producers that produce less than 20 years, 1 community leader, 2 Muang Sart Loung and Muang Sart Noi abbots. The gathering of data was from observation and non participation, observation questionnaires and interviews. Descriptive statistics was employee in data analysis.

The research was found that: Mrs. Bualai Kanapanya, who was the first Lanna lantern producer in the Village. The development of Lanna lantern from past to present has changed in design, materials and equipments for production, components of Lanna lanterns, methods, storage, benefits and public relations. The supporting factor to promote Lanna lanterns are materials are easy to buy. The manufacturing problems are: the materials are not price stable, lack of labor, product copy and underselling price problems. To conserve the lantern craft, producers need to pass on the knowledge to young generation and to promote cultural tourism by helding Muang Sart Walking Street.
