Abstract

The main objectives of this research were to: 1) examine the goodness-of-fit of structural equation modeling developed by the empirical data, and 2) study the causal factors influencing intention to use E-payment in Thailand. The questionnaire was used to collect data from 400 Thai people, who reach the legal age as well as can conduct financial transactions. The results found that (1) the model of intention to use E-payment fitted well with empirical data. 2) Perceived E-payment security had a positive influence on trust, technology acceptance, and intention to use E-payment. The result of the study can be provided as the guideline for transactions via E-payment system in terms of perceived e-payment security, trust, and technology acceptance. In addition, the result of this study can be the beneficial for businesses and organizations, where seek opportunities to sell products and services through E-payment system to achieve the organization’s goal in terms of convenient, fast, and efficient service comparing to the major business competitors as well.
