Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

Manuscript Requirements

- The author can submit the manuscript in Thai or English. The author has to provide information about name, surname, affiliation, and contact information.

- In case the article is as a partial fulfillment of the degree, approval from the advisor is needed beforehand.

- The article should not be longer than 25 pages. Abstract must not exceed 300 words (Both Thai and English), also contain up to 5 keywords.  Both Thai and English manuscript must have both Thai and English abstracts.

- The author has to check the accuracy of manuscript, spelling, punctuation and appropriateness of language.

- The manuscript must be in APA style format (see detail at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/APA_ style#Reference list), also accuracy and completeness of the reference must be verified.

- Any article submitted for publication must be 1. approved by the Institutional Research Ethical Board by specifying the certified number and attaching a copy of the certified with the article or 2. The corresponding author has to hold a certificate from the Institutional Research Ethical Board and submit it with the article.

Manuscript Content

Research and academic manuscripts have to contain the following topics:

  1. Title (Both Thai and English language)
  2. Author(s) Name, Surname (Both Thai and English language), affiliation, E-mail, and contact number
  3. Corresponding Author’s E-mail
  4. Abstract (Both Thai and English not exceed 300 words) Keywords (Both Thai and English and containing up to 5 keywords)
  5. Contents
    • Research Manuscript (Research and results should be presented in a systematic manner with the following elements and can have different topics or elements)
      • Introduction
      • Purpose of the Study
      • Concepts, Theories and Literature Reviews
      • Research Methodology (clear explanation of how research is conducted, including the data collections and research tools.
      • Results
      • Discussion and Conclusion
      • Recommendations
      • References
    • Academic Manuscript (Academic Manuscript should be presented in a systematic manner, topics and content, should clearly indicate the issues to be addressed, suitable sequence of content for the reader to understand clearly, and have a complete recommendation with the following elements) (There can be different topics or elements).

Manuscript Preparation (Research / Academic article)

  1. The manuscript is no longer than 25 pages 1 column A4 size. (including Thai and English abstracts and reference documents)
  2. Page setup setting: the top edge 1.5 inches, the bottom edge 1 inch, the left edge 1.5 inches, and the right edge 1 inch.
  3. Use TH SarabunPSK font size as the following:

            3.1 Thai and English title 20-point bold left.

            3.2 Thai and English authors’ name 15-point bold left.

            3.3 Position, affiliation and e-mail address of the author 15-point normal left.

            3.4 The topic 16-point bold left.

            3.5 Description / subject matter 15-point normal left.

    1. The table, figures or others in manuscript have to be clear, identified with numbers referring to the source cited, and do not violate the rights of others.
    2. References in the manuscript are only in English and the APA Style (7th edition)

Citations and references

All Thai and English manuscript submitted must be identifying the reference document or the source of information, and listed at the reference part. All citations and references are in APA style and English only. Manuscript submitters should check the accuracy in order to ensure the integrity of the reference strictly defined by Business Administration Journal. (The manuscript which is not aligned with the guideline format, will not be forwarded to the professional reviewers in the next step). The manuscript author must adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. For citations at the reference part, gather all cited documents arranged alphabetically at the end of the article using APA 7th style. For the Thai citation source, specify, if it is Thai language (in Thai) except in English, do not need to specify the language at the end of each citation in the references.

 Manuscript Submission

Processing Fee

A.1 Institution member: Annual fee 5000 Baht and processing fee 4,500 Baht per manuscript.

A.2 Individual member: Annual fee 400 Baht and processing fee 6,000 Baht per manuscript.

B. Non-member: Processing fee 6,000 Baht per manuscript.

The authors pay the publication fee after their manuscript got initially approved by the editorial board.

The authors can pay for the publication fee by transferring their money to “Journal of Business Administration, The Association of Private Higher Education Institutions of Thailand” Account number 813-251289-0, SBC Savings Account, The Mall Ratchasrima Branch, and send the payment slip to apheitbus_journal@southeast.ac.th
