Business Success Model Development for Micro Enterprise

Abstract

This research aims at studying the structural relationship of the business success, market
oriented and entrepreneurial competencies of the micro enterprise, key success factors and
develops and evaluates the success model.
The structural model has been studied by using all small business entrepreneurs in Nakhon
Ratchasima province, using stratified random sampling from the entrepreneurs in district level and
using simple random sampling in the area with 551 samples. Using the opinion level questionnaire,
tested by the statistics and analyzed the structural equation model. The results showed a suitable
with ÷2 = 465.517 (df=233, p=0.00), ÷2/df = 1.998, GFI = 0.933, AGFI = 0.914, IFI = 0.972, TLI =
0.967, CFI = 0.972, and RMSEA = 0.043. It finds that the entrepreneurial competencies in terms of
opportunities creation, relationship and network and the strategic decision making have a directed
relation in positively effects in case of the market oriented at the level of influence 80.9 percent
and have a positively effects on the business success with market oriented. When combining with
the management system skill that has a directed relation in positively effects, it has a correlation
at the level of influence 63.3 percent.
The key success factors are the qualitative research that used the in-depth perspective for
analyzing the overview of both factors. An interviewing 20 persons of the experts and the relevant
role people find that the micro enterprise entrepreneur and the responsible person from
government sector must create an internal value by oneself and connect each other in term of
the value chain.
The developed model composed of the concept and principle, objectives, developing
conditions, development process and conditions. The qualitative evaluation by in-depth interviewing
the target group; the professionals and the experts with 10 persons, finds that the model is suitable
as standard and appropriate for utilization.
