The Effects of Entrepreneurial Characteristics on the Street Vendors’ Success in Khon Kaen

Abstract

The objective of this research was to study the entrepreneurial characteristics affecting on
the street vendors’ success in Khon Kaen. The questionnaire was distributed to 300 street vendors
as data collection. The mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient and multiple regression
analysis were used to analyze the data in this study. The results revealed that problem solving
skill, presentation skill and analytical skill had an impact on the success of street vendors at 0.01
significance level and team building skill and creative thinking had an impact on the success of
street vendors at 0.05 significance level. The predictability of the aforementioned independent
variables accounted for 49.3 percent.
