The purposes of this research are 1) to compare pretest and posttest scores of students who learned though the 4 MAT teaching model, 2) to compare the posttest and posttest scores of students who learned though the 4 MAT teaching model group with criterion 75%, and 3) to study students’ satisfaction of grade 11 students after learned though the 4 MAT teaching model. The samples in this study were selected by simple random sampling; there were 43 high school students in grade 11 in the second semester of academic year 2016 at Triam-udomSuksa School of the South. The research instruments consisted of the 4 MAT lesson plans, the achievement tests, and the satisfaction test. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t – test.
The research results were as follows:
- The posttest scores on Probability by using the 4 MAT teaching model were significantly higher than the pretest scores at the .05 level.
- The achievement learning of students on Probability after learning though the 4 MAT teaching model indicated that it was higher than the standard criterion at 75%, which was significantly different at the 0.05 level.
- The satisfaction of the students after learning though the 4 MAT teaching model was at a high level.
