Abstract

Academic Article The Study of Relationship Between Bullying Behavior and Self-Esteem In 4th-6th Grade Students At-Risk for Learning Disabilities. PURPOSES: This study aimed to investigate the self-esteem in 4 th-6 th grade students at-risk for learning disabilities and investigate the relationship between bullying behaviors in terms of bullies, bystanders, and the victims convey and their self-esteem in 4th-6th grade students at-risk for learning disabilities. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This study is a quantitative, cross-sectional study using a screening form for bullying in Patcharaporn students. Srisawat et al. (2017) and Kunthaleeporn's self-esteem test for students. Srichan and colleagues (2017), collect data from 461 students at a high risk of learning disabilities under the Department of Education Bangkok Thung Khru area. The data was collected by selecting only students whose parents agreed to allow their children to participate in the assessment in the research. which has a total of 88 samples. The duration of project from August 2020 to August 2021. The statistics used to conduct this study were as follows: the descriptive statistics to describe the attribute of the sample and Pearson's correlation coefficient test statistic to test the hypothesis. RESULTS: The findings revealed that bullying behaviors in terms of bullies, bystanders, and the victims convey no correlation with the self-esteem in 4 th-6 th grade students at-risk for learning disabilities. CONCLUSION: There were no relationship between all aspects of bullying behaviors and their self-esteem.
