Abstract

This research aimed to improve the outpatient service process using process mining techniques and value stream analysis. The outpatient data extracted from the public hospital's hospital information system were analyzed using process exploration and conformance checking. The results showed that the actual processes were inconsistent with the operating standards. In addition, the value stream analysis indicated the waste resource and the waste process that negatively affected the organization. These research findings tend to improve the healthcare service.
