The Readiness of People in Nakhon Pathom Province to Enter the Cashless Society

Abstract

This research aimed to: (1) study the readiness of people in Nakhon Pathom Province to enter the cashless society, (2) compare the readiness of people to enter the cashless society classified by personal factors, and (3) study the factors related to the readiness to enter the cashless society. This quantitative study employed a survey questionnaire to obtain data from 400 personnel in Nakhon Pathom Province at the age above 13 years. The obtained data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and Chi-Square.


The finding revealed that (1) most people in Nakhon Pathom Province were ready to enter the cashless society (2) career and average income per month affects the readiness of people to enter the cashless society statistically significant at .01, and (3) technology acceptance factors, service quality factors, and social influence factors affect the readiness of the people to enter the cashless society statistically significant at .01
