Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the confirmatory factors of anti-corruption among students in higher education institutions.  The sample consisted of 1,041 undergraduate students in their first to fourth years at five higher education institutions in the academic year 2024, obtained using a multi-stage random sampling. The instrument used in this research was the anti-corruption questionnaire for students in higher education institutions. It was a 5-level rating scale with 25 items. The discrimination power of each item was between 0.21 and 0.67, and the reliability was 0.82. This factor analysis used confirmatory factor analysis. The research results revealed that the factor analysis of students' anti-corruption found 3 factors: 1) distinguishing personal and public interests, 2) shame and intolerance of corruption, and 3) sufficient mindset to resist corruption, which was consistent with the empirical data, with a Chi-square value of 1.89, df=1, p=.17, GFI = 1.00, AGFI = 0.99, RMSEA = 0.03, SRMR = 0.02, with standardized factor loadings between 0.51 and 0.66, and all factors were statistically significant at the .05 level, indicating that the anti-corruption measurement model can measure the factors of students' anti-corruption.
