THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MANAGEMENT MANUALS TO PROMOTE LEADERSHIP FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD STUDENTS USING CONTEMPLATIVE EDUCATION PROCESS IN ROI ET PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) to develop the learning management manuals to promote leadership and manage learning by using contemplative education processes, and 2) to experiment with and evaluate the effectiveness of the learning management manuals to promote leadership and manage learning by using contemplative education processes to students majoring in early childhood education in Roi Et province. The samples included 100 students majoring in early childhood education. They were selected by a purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by employing the handbook used for enhancing leadership by using contemplative education processes, pre-and post-tests, and satisfaction measurement, and analyzed by using mean, standard deviation, percentage, and t-test, pre-made statistical software.

               The findings revealed the following: 1] Leadership enhancement and learning management through the contemplative education process affected the leadership of students majoring in early childhood education in Roi Et province at a statistical difference of 0.5. The post-test mean score after holding the activities was higher than the pre-test after the intervention of learning management through the contemplative education process. 2] The results from the satisfaction measurement of the use of the handbook revealed that the learning management to enhance leadership by using the contemplative education process was at the highest level (x= 4.63)
