FACTORS AFFECTING THE SUCCESS IN CREATING AN INNONVATION CULTURE OF MANUFACTURING ORGANIZATIONS IN SAMUT PRAKAN OROVINCE

Abstract

This research aims to 1) study the characteristics of manufacturing organizations in Samut Prakan Province, 2) study the level of importance of factors affecting the success of creating an innovation culture, 3) study the factors of innovative leadership, innovation support, creative sharing, and talented people that affect the success of creating an innovation culture of manufacturing organizations in Samut Prakan Province. The research model used quantitative research. The sample group was 400 manufacturing organizations in Samut Prakan Province, selected by non-probability sampling and purposive sampling. The sample size was set at 400 factories. Data were collected using offline questionnaires sent directly to the sample group. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to find the frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, and inferential statistics to analyze by multiple regression analysis.


The results of the research found that: The success in creating an innovation culture depends on various important factors, including innovative leadership, innovation support, creative sharing, and talented people, with a significance level of .05 (p-value < .05). In other words, when manufacturing organizations in Samut Prakan Province have leaders with innovative leadership, receive support for innovation, share creative ideas and more talented people, the manufacturing organizations in Samut Prakan Province will be more successful in creating an innovative culture, with statistical significance at the .05 level (p-value < .05). This finding will be directly beneficial to manufacturing organizations in Samut Prakan Province and other provinces in all regions of Thailand. It will also be beneficial to the academic sector.
