THE DEVELOPMENT OF PREVENTION AND SOLUTION MODEL FOR CRYSTAL METHAMPHETAMINE ADDICTION AMONG FEMALE ADOLESCENTS

Abstract
This research “The Development of Prevention and Solution Model for Crystal Methamphetamine Addiction among Female Adolescents” aimed to study the problems, experiences and life lessons of adolescent girls related to Crystal Methamphetamine, by using a qualitative research method and the group of 36 key informants included adolescent girls who were sentenced to prison in a special treatment facility for drug addicts at Thanyaburi Women Correctional Institution, Thonburi Women Correctional Institution, Chonburi Women Correction Institution, family and neighbors in the neighborhood of adolescent girls sentenced in the Women's Prevention model research presentations, and solving the problem of drug addiction among adolescent girls developed by the researcher which assessed by experts. Penitentiary Pathum Thani Province, Nonthaburi Province, Chonburi Province, Government Officials who responsible for various duties in the Women's Penitentiary, Community officials include mayor, deputy mayor, deputy secretary of the municipality, village headman, and commander of Nakhon Si Thammarat Central Prison, in the total of 36 people. The case study analyze data through logical interpretations and inductive conclusions.
The results showed that:
Adolescent girls’ problems arise from themselves, family, environment, economy and attitudes, participation in prevention and solve the problem of Crystal Methamphetamine. On the family side and the community is not good enough even though it is aware of the problem and needs to be involved in such prevention. In order to resolve a problem for such girls and people in the community so that they can return to normal life to make the community a drug-free area. For government officials and private sectors related to drug problem management in the community, working mechanisms, patterns and methods of driving policies into practice which are still lack of linkages in operations. Therefore, the protection and the solving methods of Crystal Metham phetamine among adolescent girls. If also need to be revised to created operational guidelines that aimed at creating a safe society from drugs.
