A MODEL FOR PROMOTING VOLUNTEER SPIRITUAL BEHAVIORS FOR THE LOWER-SECONDARY STUDENTS IN THE SCHOOLS UNDER THE LOCAL ADMINISTRAION OGANIZATION IN CHANTHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

The purposes of this study were: 1) to study the problem condition, 2) to establish and examine the quality of the volunteer behavior promotion model and 3) to test and evaluate the use of the volunteer behavior promotion model. Use a mixed research model. The study was a

mixed research. The sample group was divided according to the following objectives. Item 1 was students, administrators and teachers. Schools under local administrative organizations Chanthaburi Province, 301 people by using a specific random sampling method, the second item is administrators and teachers. The model school consisted of 9 students by using a specific random sampling method. The third item was that 30 students of Muang Chanthaburi Municipal School 2 selected the sample group by using a specific random sampling method. Collected using he tools were questionnaire, interview form, assessment form, activity set and measurement form. The statistics used were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-Test (Dependent-t).

            The results of the research found that:

            1) problems in promoting volunteer behavior Overall, it was at the practical level at some times.

            2) The model of promoting student volunteer behavior. It consists of 6 modules of volunteer behavior promotion activities, including Volunteer Motivation, Helping Others. sacrifice to society commitment to development altruism collective responsibility; and

3) The results of using the model found that the students' volunteer behavior after using the model had higher volunteer behavior than before using the model.
