Intercultural Communication of Pilok E Tong

Abstract
This qualitative research aimed to 1. study the communication characteristics that express the relationship between cultures of the Pilok E Tong. 2. study the identity of the people of Pilok E Tong and 3. study the impact of cultural assimilation of the Pilok E Tong. Use informal talks and in-depth interviews were conducted to collect data from 12 persons selected by purposive sampling, and descriptive analysis was used to determine the outcome.
The study identified 3 factors contributing to 1) The communication style that expresses the relationship between cultures of the Pilok E Tong people is mostly face-to-face. There are religion, culture, traditions as a medium to connect with each other. Throughout to create an understanding of the differences between them. 2) The identity of the Pilok E Tong people is in a harmonious manner until most of the Pilok E Tong people have a Thai identity but retain their own identity such as language, dress, food, home. Until becoming a place that combines the unique culture that is perfect. And 3) The impact of the cultural assimilation of the Pilok E Tong people is negligible. Because people in Pilok E Tong understand regarded as friends. They also want to develop their own community on an equal footing and become a unique cultural attraction in a beautiful valley. Including the peaceful acceptance of different cultures with each other.
