Development of Packaging for Dan Kwian Pottery, Nakhon Ratchasima

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study information about Dan Kwian pottery products and packaging 2) to development of Dan Kwian pottery packaging, Nakhon Ratchasima Province 3) to test the effectivenes packaging for Dan Kwian Pottery Products and the opinions of the target group towards Dan Kwian pottery packaging. The researcher studied the relevant information from the document. Interview, survey, Questionnaire, opinions, and data were analyzed for summary of Dan Kwian pottery packaging design, square box structure with handle, cushioning and 3 types of graphic design, including Chumphon door style, Life style of Dan Kwian community and Pottery shop style. The results were as follows: Vibration test results; Packaging, cushioning material and the product does not appear damaged. The results of the expert opinion on the packaging showed that the graphic design of the Dan Kwian community lifestyle was appropriate at a high level ( = 4.23) (S.D. = 0.40)

The results of the inquiry of entrepreneurs and sample groups were as follows; Life style of Dan Kwian community Graphic Packaging, indicating pottery products and clearly indicates the Dan Kwian community, with a drawing of the story of the Dan Kwian community in the past. Suitable for the souvenir packaging of the Dan kwian community.
