PROBLEMS AND DEVELOPMENT GUIDELINES FOR INVENTORY MANAGEMENT OF THE SECRETARIAT OF THE CABINET

Abstract
The purpose of the study the problems of the administration of the supplies of the Secretariat of the Cabinet and to study the guidelines for the development of the supplies management of the Secretariat of the Cabinet. The study of the total population was 114 personnel, supplies workers and office personnel within the Cabinet Secretariat. The data collection tool was questionnaires for data analysis using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation
The analysis shows that respondents give the opinion of the parcel management in 4 areas which are Procurement, Parcel control, Parcel maintenance, and Parcel distribution. In general, it is classified at high level. The first problem is the Procurement, next is the Parcel control, Parcel maintenance and the Parcel distribution respectively. Most of the problems are caused by lack of knowledge and understanding of the details of procedures and regulations. As for the guidelines for the development of inventory management. There should be training to provide knowledge in the correct operation. Including preparation of inventory management manual in each process and explanation of how to proceed clearly in a systematic way, then to be able to work correctly appropriate and effective
