Abstract

This research article aimed to study patterns and meanings appearing on the public relations messages for series letters available for super number plate auctions (seven passenger private vehicle). 468 PRs messages of series letters available for auctions in every regional province from August, 2004 to March, 2020 were studied. In term of length, the study revealed that the PRs messages could be ranged from one to six spaces; however, the most frequently found was the messages with the length of two spaces. Regarding the meanings of the series letters, the result could be classified into eleven groups which would be sorted from the most frequently found to the least as follows: 1. the meaning related to properties and money, 2. the meaning related to commerce, 3. the meaning related to belief, 4. the meaning related to prosperity,


5. the meaning related to work, 6. the meaning related to power and dignity, 7. the meaning related to happiness and success, 8. the meaning related to localism, 9. the meaning related to stability, 10. the meaning related to safe and sound journey, and 11. the meaning related to other topics.
