GUIDELINES FOR PERFORMANCE EFFECTIVENESS OF OFFICE OF POLICY AND PLANNING, A CASE STUDY OF OFFICE OF ASEAN AFFAIRS

Abstract
The objectives of this study were to study the effectiveness of office of ASEAN affairs, office of Policy and Planning in the ASEAN Community, to study the solutions to problems and recommendations of efficient implementation of office of ASEAN affairs, office of Policy and Planning in the ASEAN Community, and to study the development of the effectiveness of office of ASEAN affairs, office of Policy and Planning in the ASEAN Community.
The study was divided into three phases; Phrase 1 Documentary Research by study documents, theories and related research; Phrase 2 Qualitative Research by In-depth Interview, which the key informants are ten commanders and twenty officers who are currently working for the office of ASEAN affairs, office of Policy and Planning; and Phrase 3 data processing and writing report.
From the results of the study indicated that, the effective functioning of the ASEAN Secretariat The ASEAN Defense Force Policy and Plan Office found that in terms of planning, the ASEAN Heads of Staff did not know the depth of ASEAN mechanisms. Then in terms of performance, networking, coordination. it takes time to create familiarity and confidence.
