In our ongoing effort to maintain transparency and provide clear expectations for prospective authors, the editorial board of the Asian Crime and Society Review (ACSR) is pleased to publish our annual peer-review and publication metrics. The following data represents the average turnaround times for manuscripts processed during the 2025 publishing cycle.

Submission to First Decision: 32.00 days.

This period encompasses the initial editorial screening, the rigorous peer-review assessment, and the dispatch of the first editorial decision. It includes the time required to provide authors with constructive feedback and specific formatting requirements in accordance with the journal's standards.

First Decision to Acceptance: 21.57 days.

This duration reflects the time required for authors to comprehensively revise their manuscripts in response to reviewer recommendations and to finalize the formatting. This phase concludes once the manuscript fully meets the journal's rigorous standards and is officially accepted.

Acceptance to Publication: 46.36 days.

This phase covers the post-acceptance production process, including copyediting, typesetting, and final online publication.

Total Average Turnaround Time: 99.93 days.
