ACSR has been assessed and approved for inclusion in the TCI database, categorizing it in Tier 1 for evaluating journal quality within the TCI database, Round 5 (certification effective from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2029).
As per the assessment conducted by the Thai Journal Citation Index Center, ACSR was submitted for quality evaluation for entry into the TCI database, Round 5 (2025-2029). On February 4, 2025, the TCI announced the results of the review and certified ACSR for inclusion in the TCI database, classifying it in Tier 1 (the highest tier) for a further period of 5 years. Consequently, articles accepted and published in ACSR from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2029, will be indexed in the TCI database as part of Tier 1. Notably, the TCI has certified journals in Tier 1 in this round at only 29% (337 out of a total of 1,184). The editorial board invites everyone to submit interesting research and/or review articles for consideration and publication in ACSR. Also, the editorial board says that if you plan to submit articles to any other journals, please check the current status of those journals before submitting them for review. This is important as they may have been downgraded to Tier 2 or Tier 3 or even removed from the database (effective retroactively from January 1, 2025), which could cause potential harm to you and those involved.
