Abstract

The purposes of this research was to study and compare the risk factor immune factors and substance abuse risk behaviors of children and juveniles in voluntary development and self-defense village (VDS). The imformant to interview were 130 participant to development children and juveniles in voluntary development and self-defense village (VDS) and the samples of questionaire were 2,489 children and juveniles in voluntary development and self-defense village (VDS) from 18 province to total of 4 regions. The samples of multi-stage sampling. This research instruments used for study were structure interview and questionaire of rating scale. The qualitative data analysis was content analysis. the quantitative data analysis were descriptive statistics and inferential statistics was one-way ANOVA. The research result were 1) the risk factor of children and juveniles in voluntary development and self-defense village (VDS) to regions of children and juveniles were to access substance abuse avoidance and conformity of person substance abuse different significantly at .01 levels, while in the dimension of attitude was not found significantly. 2) the
immune factors of children and juveniles in voluntary development and self-defense village (VDS) to regions of children and juveniles were to self-esteem self-control and life skill different significantly at .05 levels, while in the dimension of awareness penalty for substance abuse was not found significantly. 3) the substance abuse risk behaviors of children and juveniles in voluntary development and self-defense village (VDS) to regions of children and juveniles was the substance abuse risk behaviors significantly at .05 levels.
