Development of Concepts and Mathematical Skills and Process in Elementary students
The vital aim of Mathematical learning and teaching procedure is to promote learners to have the efficiency in solving the Mathematical problems. That means learners must have the right concepts in the process of Mathematical Skills. The efficiency of learners in the process of Mathematical Skills cannot occur if teacher can not teach them to understand in this kind of process. 5P Model of teaching is a kind of method that can develop learners to be smart in the concepts and Mathematical Skills and Process. This research found 1) 5P Model took 4 hours of learning to finish overall process. 2) After learning the students demonstrated higher scores in the concepts and mathematical skills and processes comparing to the scores obtained before learning.
The difference was significant at .05 level. 3) The students could develop their concepts and mathematical skills and processes after receiving the treatment which increased from the low level to the excellent level 4) students agreed at a high level that students and teachers could play their roles in learning, they could practice what they learned in concepts , skills and processes which affected their knowledge of the concepts and mathematical skills and processes.
