Abstract

The objectives of the research were 1) to develop Mathematics Problems Solving Ability using the Problem-Based Learning with Augmented Reality Technology for grade 6 students so that students would have average score not less than 70% of total score and would be 70% up of the total number of the students passing criterion 2) to develop higher order thinking using the Problem-Based Learning with Augmented Reality Technology for grade 6 students so that students not less than 70% would have Higher Order Thinking assessment results as a ability quality up of the total number of the score. The target group was 40 Grade 6 students in Sanambin School, Khon Kaen Province. The research design was Action Research. Research instruments included 6 lesson plans, teacher and student behavior observation form, instruction records, student’s interviewing record, Mathematics Problems Solving Ability test and Higher Order Thinking test. Quantitative data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, consisting of arithmetic mean (gif.latex?\bar{x} ), standard deviation (S.D.) and percentage (%). Qualitative data analyzed by content analysis. The results were found that: 1) students had average score of Mathematics Problem Solving Ability for 24.13 or 75.39%, and there were 29 students or 72.5% passed the criteria which was higher than the defined criteria. 2) students had assessment results of Higher Order Thinking for as a ability quality up of the total number of the score, and there were35 students or 87.50% passed the criteria which was higher than the defined criteria.
