EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION MANAGEMENT FOR THAILAND SOCIETY IN THE DIGITAL AGE

Abstract

Managing early childhood education in the digital age is a significant challenge for education today. In the midst of the rapid and unstoppable wave of change, which cannot be halted, education management must adapt to create an environment and learning approaches suitable for children in this age. This adaptation aims to align with the aforementioned wave of change, enabling children to access knowledge widely, rapidly, and with maximum benefit. Educators in the digital age must continually adjust to keep up with the ever-changing times, aiming to respond to future education needs. This article presents strategies for managing early childhood education to support Thai society in the digital age. It advocates that education should evolve through digital education management, emphasizing early childhood education


 


approaches necessary to enhance holistic development in physical, emotional, mental, social, intellectual, and knowledge aspects. These approaches should align with the digital age. The analysis and synthesis of findings reveal that the strategies for managing early childhood education to support Thai society in the digital age can be summarized into three key components: 3D, which comprises Digital Age Learning, Digital Age Teacher, and Digital Age Learner. These components aim to efficiently facilitate and enhance learning, ultimately leading to the advancement of early childhood education. Early childhood education is a crucial foundation for the ongoing development of Thai children, ensuring they possess the highest level of skills and competencies aligned with the digital age.
