Abstract
“Lamphu” (cork tree) is the large plant found onto waterfront. The unique characteristic is its breathing root or aerial root holding up from the ground. Its blanches bowing down along with spares bush are inhabited by various species of animals. Purpose of this article addresses to indicate the importance and value of “cork tree” which is the main plant of waterfront ecosystem. Cork tree is interesting plant for learning as further symbol or tourist attraction point for promoting local community career owing to its wonderful sparkling when masses twinkling fireflies turn up onto the bushes at night. The pollution occurred such as garbage, waste water, chemicals, dust and smoke cause of waterfront ecosystem imbalance. The problem solving with sustainability of waterfront ecosystem is come from learning. The greatest learning of humanity is “Lifelong Learning” in which arises from their own needs leading to oneself ability for knowledge to solve and prevent the problems. The result of learning will be sustainable for carrying during the rest of their lives and become a wisdom passing from generation to generation for value of “Lamphu” (cork tree) waterfront system through “Lifelong Learning”
